Zhuge Xu
Personal details
Born (Unknown)
Died (Unknown)

Zhuge Xu (birth and death dates unknown) was a general of the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. During the Conquest of Shu by Wei in 263, Zhuge Xu led 30,000 men into Hanzhong to barricade Jiang Wei's possible escape route. However, Jiang Wei tricked Zhuge Xu into thinking that he would lead his army through another route and attack his rear. Zhuge Xu fell to this plot and Jiang Wei escaped. When Wei general Deng Ai arrived and requested Zhuge Xu join him on his advance onto the Shu capital of Chengdu, Zhuge Xu refused. Zhong Hui, who pushed Jiang Wei towards Zhuge Xu, saw an advantage to increase his own army with this. Zhong Hui accused Zhuge Xu of cowardice and arrested him. Zhuge Xu was sent back to the Wei capital Luoyang after that.
