Wilhelm Busse (8 August 1915 – 28 June 1944) was a highly decorated Oberstleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Wilhelm Busse was killed on 28 June 1944 near Mogilev, Belarus during the Mogilev Offensive.
