Vladimir Yakovlevich Kolpakchi (Russian: Владимир Яковлевич Колпакчи, Ukrainian: Колпакчи Володимир Якович) (* September 7, 1899, Kiev – † May 17, 1961, Moscow) was a Soviet General of the Army during the World War II, Hero of the Soviet Union. He was the first commander of what became the famed Soviet 62nd Army, holding the post between July and August.
