The Band of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Transnistria (Russian: Oркестр Министерства Внутренних Дел Приднестро́вье), also known as the Transnistrian MVD Band (Russian: Oркестр МВД Приднестро́вье) is the main ensemble of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Transnistria. The orchestra also performs at various official community events. Since 1996, the orchestra has been headed by Lieutenant Colonel Valentin Memey.[1] The orchestra was formed on June 29, 1993.[2][3][4]
