Made some general corrections around the article, such as removing the dash from "M16" in some instances. I'm also pretty sure that US forces in Vietnam never used a dedicated light support variant of the M16 (doctrine at the time of adoption of the XM16E1/M16A1 was for the designated "automatic rifleman" to use his M16 on fully automatic while the rest of the squad used theirs on semi-automatic, but this didn't work out well in practice). The only use of an M16 LSW variant by US forces (prior to the adoption of the M27 IAR, that is) that I know of was the XM106 tested during the SAW trials, but it was beat out by the XM249. However the article stating that the FN MAG/M240 replaced the M16 LSW in US service is false, it replaced the M60 GPMG. Ghost Leader 14:57, February 14, 2011 (UTC)
