The Special Forces Qualification Badge[1] also known as the "SF Badge" is awarded by the Regimental Commander, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) to members of the Philippine Military and National Police Force after the successful completion of the requirements setforth by the Special Forces School for passing the 6 months Special Forces Operations Course (SFOC).
Participants must survive and pass a 6 month rigorous training course at the Special Forces School at Fort Magsaysay, Palanan City, Nueva Ecija.
Description[]
The badge is in the form of an ovate shield where the words "Special Forces" is superimposed at the middle. On the top-most part of the shield are 3 arrows and parachute the bottom.
