Shon J. Manasco (born May 17, 1970) is an American businessman who currently serves as the Acting United States Under Secretary of the Air Force.

Prior to being called back into public service, Shon Manasco served as an executive vice president at the financial services firm USAA. During his tenure Manasco served in several roles ranging from Chief Human Resources Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer where his team was responsible for leading the association's business solutions, information technology and innovation labs, corporate services, enterprise cyber and physical security, procurement and USAA ventures. In 2014, he was called upon again to step in and lead the company's Member Experience organization (Sales and Service teams across all product lines) and address underperformance of the enterprise's flagship team.

Prior to being recruited to USAA, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer for Constellation Energy Group in Baltimore, Md., where he led corporate and shared services function, at the height of the financial crisis. While there, he was a part of a small team called upon to help navigate the company through a perilous time and successfully keep the company from bankruptcy.

When the opportunity arose to work in the energy industry, he had spent eleven years as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America holding leadership roles in investment and retail banking, asset management and securities. It was here that he became known for his skill at tackling the most difficult jobs and building teams that outperformed their counterparts in industry.

Manasco served as an officer in the U.S. Army, commanding at Fort Bragg, N.C., before becoming director of finance and accounting for the Office of Military Support, Washington, D.C. While in public service, he held numerous staff and leadership positions supporting worldwide operational activities for Joint Special Operations forces.[1][2]
