The Second Ararat Operation or the Second Ararat Uprising was a military operation prepared with the request of the 3rd Army Inspectorate and with the approval of the General Staff, to suppress the Kurdish forces on Mount Ararat, and was carried out between 13-20 September 1927.

A number of uprisings were also organized in various parts of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia in 1929 in order to support the major uprising planned in the Ağrı region, to cause the least force as possible to be sent to Ağrı by drawing the attention of the state to various regions, and thus to make the rebellion planned to be started in Ağrı successful. It broke out in . The uprising started by Jilyan Tribe Chief Ali Resul, which broke out on May 22, 1929, was suppressed on August 3, 1929. The Tendüruk events, which started on September 14, 1929, were suppressed on September 27, 1929, and the Iranian tribal leader Sheikh Abdülkadir and his entourage fled to Iran. The events in the Midyad-Savur region on May 20, 1930 ended with the capture of Halit, Seyit Han and Alican gangs from Kernos on June 9, 1930. The rebellion launched by the sons of Kör Hüseyin and Emin Pasha on June 20, 1930 was suppressed in September. In addition, Sheikh Barzani in Iraq led a group of 500 people under the leadership of Mullah Hussein Sharif, crossing the Iraqi border and reaching 15 km from Oramar. The deployment of forces to the Şat Mountain in the east caused the state to send forces to the Oramar region, and the operation, which started on July 16, ended on October 10, 1930. Mullah Hussein Sharif gang had to take refuge in Iraq again.
