The Scout Ranger Qualification Badge[1] also known as the "Tabak Badge" is awarded by the Regimental Commander, First Scout Ranger Regiment to members of the Philippine Military and National Police Force after the successful completion of the requirements setforth by the Scout Ranger Training School for passing the 6 months Scout Ranger Course.
Participants must survive and pass a 6 month rigorous training course at the Scout Ranger Training School at Camp Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan or any former camps handled by the Scout Ranger Regiment. Culminating the training course is a difficult, and most of the time deadly, test mission in actual combat zone designated by the regimental staff.
Description
The badge is in the form of a shield with a dagger placed inside the badge. The line "We Strike" is indicated at the bottom of the badge.
