Sivuch on the Liao He, 1904.

Sivuch (Russian - Сивуч; literally, sealion) was a Beaver-class gunboat of the Imperial Russian Navy. She entered service in 1884 and was powered by sail and steam propeller. She took an active part in mapping the northern Pacific and nearby seas as well as periodicially being stationed in Chinese and Korean ports and protecting seal rookeries, principally from American poachers. She took part in the suppression of the Boxer Rebellion and was sunk in the Battle of the Gulf of Riga in August 1915 by the German ships Nassau and Posen.
