Ruag 120mm CTG

Ruag’s 120mm Compact Tank Gun is 6 meters in length. In its newest version, it has a muzzle break, having an efficiency of roughly 40%, and recoil length of 50 cm. Recoil mass has been decreased from 50 tons to 26 tons. Currently, Ruag’s 120mm CTG is being used to arm the new Polish armored vehicle, WPB Anders. The gun is hosted in an unmanned turret with 11—round autoloader. The newest compact breech came at a price of extra weight. It weighs 2.6 metric tons as compared to the 1.1 metric tons of Rheinmetall’s L/44.
