Ronald John Beresford Irwin, DSO, MC[1] was the first Archdeacon of Dorking.[2]

Born on 1 August 1880, he was educated at Winchester and Keble College, Oxford and ordained in 1905. He was a Chaplain in India from 1909 to 1923, and a Chaplain to the Forces during World War One;[3] and Vicar of Lillington from 1922 to 1927.[4] He died on 8 July 1930.[5]
