The Riviresa Campaign Services Medal (In Sinhalese:වඩමාරච්චි මෙහෙයුම් පදක්කම) is presented to all ranks of the Regular and Volunteer Forces of the military of the Republic of Sri Lanka and to those who have served in Operation Riviresa.
Who received the medal[]
- Deputy Minister of Defence, Service Commanders, Inspector General of Police
- All persons of the Security Forces who were actively involved in the military operations in the Operation Riviresa.
- All police personnel who were actively involved in the military operations in the Operation Riviresa.
- All those individuals, both military and civil, who were involved in planning the Operation Rivires and were present in the Jaffna Peninsula during the Operation Riviresa.
- All armed and civil Doctors and hospital staff who provided medical support and care to the casualties during the Operation Riviresa.
How medal awarded[]
The decoration is presented by His/Her Excellency the President after recommended by the respective Service Commanders.
