Pierre Ayotte was a French-Canadian soldier. Ayotte, a habitant from Kamouraska who was equally devoted to the revolutionary cause as Clément Gosselin, whom he soon became partners with during the American Revolutionary War. He served in Moses Hazen's Canadian regiment. Ayotte helped to raise troops for the American cause at the Battle of Saint-Pierre, as well as serving under the regiment for the rest of the aftermath of the Battle of Quebec.
