The People's Liberation Army General Staff Department (simplified Chinese: 中国人民解放军总参谋部; traditional Chinese: 中國人民解放軍總參謀部; pinyin: Zhōngguó Rénmín Jifàngjūn Zǒngcānmóubù) is the command organ and the headquarter for the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). It is under the absolute leadership of the Central Military Commission. Its duties include - PLA Operations Command, Recruitments, Mobilizations, Formation, Trainings and Administration. It has the following departments

The People's Liberation Army General Staff Headquarters is located in Beijing and its current commander is Four-star General Chen Bingde.[1]
