The Order for the cause of cooperative development (Vietnamese language: Huân chương Vì sự nghiệp phát triển hợp tác xã) is a form of reward of the Vietnam Cooperative Union (Liên minh Hợp tác xã Việt Nam) to recognize the merits of individuals who have made many contributions to the cause of building and developing cooperatives in Vietnam.[1]

According to this Decision of the Vietnam Cooperative Union, the order is considered and presented annually on the occasion of the Vietnam Cooperative Day (April 11), the founding day of the Vietnam Cooperative Union (October 29), the National Cooperatives' Day (October 29), and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance. term association of the Vietnam Cooperative Union and the Cooperative Union of the provinces and cities; consider giving unexpected gifts when necessary under the decision of the President of the Vietnam Cooperative Union.

Criteria for awarding order to people working in the Vietnam Cooperative Union system include: Having many merits and making effective contributions to the cooperative economy, cooperatives and the development of the Vietnam Cooperative Union; are working in stable and effective units. Specific time standards for each subject: Chairman of the Board of Directors, Director of the cooperative,

General Director of the Union of Cooperatives 10 years; Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Deputy Director of Cooperatives, Deputy General Director of the Union of Cooperatives 12 years; Officials, members and employees in the cooperative, the Union of Cooperatives 20 years for men, 15 years for women; Chairman of the provincial and city cooperative unions for 5 years; Vice Presidents of Youth Unions of provinces and cities for 7 years; Cadres, officials and employees in units of the Vietnam Cooperative Union and provinces and cities 20 years for men, 15 years for women; Member of Executive Committee of Vietnam Cooperative Union for 5 years; individuals working in the Vietnam Cooperative Union system are honored by the State as a Labor Hero or recognized as a National Emulation Soldier (excluding working time)…

In addition, the order is also considered and awarded to people outside the Vietnam Cooperative Union system; Leaders from central to local levels have made many contributions in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of the task of building and developing cooperatives.
