Operation Carbet was a French military operation that took place in Haiti in 2004.

In 2004, the United Nations peacekeeping force intervened in Haiti to restore order as part of (MINUSTAH).

France participated by sending the 2nd company of the 3rd foreign infantry regiment. This was the first operation of the regiment since its arrival from Madagascar. It also sent a metropolis detachment based on the CEA (Lightning and Support Company) of the 1st Regiment of Parachute Fighters (1RCP) and the Jaubert Commando.

The squadron 23/2 of the Mounted Police Mont-de-Marsan (now dissolved) also participated in the missions of restoration of the order in Haiti during the operation from 2 March to June 21, 2004.

The 1st company of the 33rd Marine Infantry Regiment stationed at Fort de France was planned in January 2004 to control the north and northeastern sector of Haiti.

Based in Cap Haitien, the company controlled the northern sector to Fort Liberté and Ounanaminthe. (border of the Dominican Republic)
