The New Zealand Army Band is a brass band formed in 1964 by the New Zealand Army to perform at ceremonial occasions. In the 1970s, the band incorporated vocalists and expanded its repertoire to include jazz, pop, and rock music. Since 2002, the band has been a recurring participant in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
The band performed for Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle for her Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012 and for her 90th birthday in 2016.[1]
