Nathan J. Lindsay was a Major General in the United States Air Force.

Biography[]

Lindsay was born in Monroe, Wisconsin in 1936.[1] He would attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Southern California.

Career[]

Lindsay joined the Air Force in 1959. He would work on the Titan III and the Air Force Satellite Control Network. Later, he became Director of Special Projects in the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force. His retirement was effective as of January 1, 1993.

Awards he has received include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Master Astronaut Badge, and the Master Missile Badge.
