NASM-SR is a helicopter launched naval anti-ship missile being developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation for Indian Navy. DRDO mentioned for the first time in 2018 has broken cover at the ongoing Defence Expo show in Lucknow. This project is possibly being developed for a number of platforms, having different ranges. ‘SR’, or Short Range, means that development of other longer range versions is expected as well.[2]
