Misagh-3 (shoulder-fired missile) (Persian: موشک دوش‌پرتاب میثاق-۳‎) is an Iranian shoulder-fired missile,[1][2] which was unveiled in 2017; Misagh-3 is an upgraded version of the Misagh-2, and this possesses a range of 5,000 meters and has a maximum flight altitude of 3,500. This shoulder-fired missile utilizes one kilogram of high-explosive warheads. Being a new fuse in Misagh-3 has made it distinct in comparison with two other models of it, namely Misagh-1 and Misagh-2.[3][4][5][6]

Based on the published images regarding Misagh-3,[7][8][9][10] it can be said that this fuse is a laser type and its basis is that after launching the missile towards the considered target, a laser radiation source inside the missile spreads the light around 360 degrees; And as soon as it approaches the target and reflects the light of the laser light that hits the considered target, the warhead of the missile is activated and explodes.[11][12]
