Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Max Herzbach (17 January 1914 – 2 May 2002) was a member of the Fallschirmjäger during World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German language: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
