  • HMS Myrmidon (Naval Ensign of the United Kingdom Royal Navy): The Myrmidon-class destroyer collided with Hamborn (Civil Ensign of the United Kingdom United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and sank in the English Channel off Dungeness, Kent with the loss of a crew member. Survivors were rescued by HMS Mermaid (Naval Ensign of the United Kingdom Royal Navy) and Tambour (Civil Ensign of the United Kingdom United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland).
