Generalleutnant Kurt Renner commanded the 211th Infantry Division and the 174th Reserve Division of the German Wehrmacht during World War II. He was promoted to generalleutnant on 1 July 1940. He was killed whilst in command of the 174th Reserve Division on 26 August 1943.[1]
