Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Kurt Lottner (30 October 1899 – 15 March 1957) was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Kurt Lottner was taken prisoner by British troops in May 1945 and was released in 1947.
