General Kouprasith Abhay, also known by its nickname 'Fat K', was a Laotian military and political figure from the Vietnam War, also designated the Second Indochina War.

He was born into the privileged ruling family of Khong Island. As commander of the Vientiane Military Region, he collaborated with Generals Ouane Rattikone and Siho Lamphouthakoun to launch a right-wing coup d'état on April 19, 1964. In 1973, he put down a coup attempt by Brigadier General Thao Ma, reportedly executing some 60 conspirators. Prior to the end of the Secret War, General Kouprasith Abhay was named Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Lao Army. He fled Laos in 1975 when Laos fell to the communist Pathet Lao. He became a one of the eight founders of the Neo Hom in 1981, along with Prince Sisouk na Champassak and Vang Pao.
