Juozas Olekas (born October 30, 1955) is a Lithuanian surgeon and politician, the former Minister of National Defence, from July 18, 2006 till 2008. In 1990, 2003-2004 he also served as the Health Minister of Lithuania.
Olekas has studied at the Kaunas Medical Institute from 1974 to 1976, Vilnius Public University from 1976 to 1980.
Between 1994 and 1997 he was Chief physician at Vilnius University hospital.
Olekas is married to Aurelija, they have two daughters.
