Josip Metzger (1883 - 1945) was a Croatian military commander.

In summer 1944 People's Uprising Corps ( Pučko-ustaški zbor ) was formed under General Josip Metzger [1]

"Pučko-ustaška pukovnija" was originally the name of four Croatian regiments that fought together with the Royal Croatian Home Guard (Hrvatsko Domobranstvo) against Serbia in 1914.
