John H. Cushman (born October 3, 1921) is a retired lieutenant general in the United States Army. He is a former commander of the I Corps at Fort Lewis, a post which he served from 1976 to 1978. He is also a former commander of the US 101st Airborne Division (1972 to 1973). He is a 1944 graduate of the United States Military Academy.[1] He was born in Tianjin, China while his father, Horace Oscar Cushman was serving in the 15th Infantry.[2][3]
