Ivan Nikolaevich Shkadov (Russian: Иван Николаевич Шкадов; 2 May [O.S. 19 April] 1913 – 15 February 1991) was a Soviet army general. He commanded a tank regiment during World War II for which he was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union in 1978, and in the 1980s he was the chief of the editorial board for the development of the encyclopedia of people awarded the title.[1]
