Hou Xuan

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Hou.

Hou Xuan was a military general serving under the warlord Han Sui during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. When Ma Chao went to raise an army against Cao Cao, Hou Xuan fought alongside his lord, Han Sui. At the time when Han Sui fell out with Ma Chao, Hou Xuan along with Han Sui both surrendered to Cao Cao.
