The Heroj class was a group of three submarines built for and operated by the Yugoslav Navy.

Design[]

These boats were designed in Yugoslavia and were the second group of indigenous submarines. They had a number of improvements relative to the preceding Sutjeska-class submarines, including an improved hull form optimised for underwater performance and more up to date Soviet radars.
