Hermann Geyer (7 July 1882 – 10 April 1946) was a highly decorated General der Infanterie in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the IX. Armeekorps. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hermann Geyer retired in 1943 and committed suicide in 1946.
