Three ships of the British Royal Navy have borne the name HMS Zulu, after the African Zulu people:

During the war, Zulu was severely damaged, as was Cambrian. Zulu was damaged at the stern, Cambrian at the bow. The two ships were cut in half, and a new ship "Zambrian" created. It was this ship that was sold in 1971.
