HMS Sentinel was an S class submarine of the Royal Navy, and part of the Third Group built of that class. She was built by Scotts of Greenock and launched on July 27, 1945.
Commissioned after the end of the Second World War, she had a relatively peaceful career. In 1953 she took part in the Fleet Review to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.[1] Sentinel was sold on February 28, 1962, being broken up at Gillingham.[2]
