The first HMS Louis was a Royal Navy Laforey-class destroyer, built as the first HMS Talisman but renamed on 30 September 1913 before being launched. She was wrecked in Suvla Bay on 31 October 1915.
Career[]
Built by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Govan (Yard No 491) and launched 30 December 1913, she was wrecked in Suvla Bay on 31 October 1915 during the Dardanelles campaign. The wreck was destroyed by Ottoman coastal artillery.[1]
