HMS Dasher is an Archer-class P2000 patrol and training vessel of the British Royal Navy, currently part of the Faslane Patrol Boat Squadron (FPBS) at HMNB Clyde.[1]
Until 2010 she was part of the Royal Navy Cyprus Squadron (RNCS), formed in February 2003 in support of Operation Telic, the U.S. led invasion of Iraq. Prior to 2004 Dasher was the training vessel for Bristol University Royal Naval Unit (URNU), duties most recently performed by HMS Raider. As of September 2012, Raider, took Dasher's role on FPBS, and Dasher once again returned to Bristol URNU as their training vessel.
