Herman Stacy Clardy, III is a United States Marine Corps major general, currently serving as the 3d Marine Division's commanding general.[1]
Clardy graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1983 and commissioned. He has a Master of Science in Management from Troy State University and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
He was the 39th commander of the base in Twentynine Palms.[2]
Major General Clardy was promoted to his present rank in July 2013 and is currently the Commanding General, 3d Marine Division.
