Herman Stacy Clardy, III is a United States Marine Corps major general, currently serving as the 3d Marine Division's commanding general.

Clardy graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1983 and commissioned. He has a Master of Science in Management from Troy State University and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.

He was the 39th commander of the base in Twentynine Palms.

Major General Clardy was promoted to his present rank in July 2013 and is currently the Commanding General, 3d Marine Division.
