Henry Charles "Hank" Stackpole III (born May 7, 1935) is a retired lieutenant general in the United States Marine Corps.[1] He is an alumnus of Princeton University.[2] His awards include the Silver Star, Legion of Merit, and Defense Superior Service Medal.
He entered the Marine Corps in 1957. Commands he held include Joint Task Force Sea Angel (in Bangladesh), Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans, Policies and Operations at Headquarters Marine Corps, Commander of Marine Forces Pacific and Fleet Marine Force, Pacific.[3][4]
