Gibraltar Barracks is a military installation in Bury St Edmunds.
History[]
The barracks were opened as the depot of the Suffolk Regiment in 1878.[1] The Suffolk Regiment Museum was established there in 1935.[2] The barracks went on to become the regional centre for infantry training as the East Anglian Brigade Depot in 1960[3] and remain the home of the Royal Anglian Regiment today.[4]
