The Fort Winnebago Surgeon's Quarters was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.[1]
History[]
The building was used by the United States Army for Fort Winnebago.[2][3] The building is owned by the Wisconsin Daughters of the American Revolution[4][5] who operate it as a museum with 19th century period furnishings. The museum also features a 19th-century one room schoolhouse that was in use until 1960.
