The Fliegerstaffel 13 (engfighter squadron 13) of the Swiss Air Force was equipped with Northrop F-5 flown by militia pilots. Their home base at the dissolution was the Payerne Air Base. The old emblem was round with orange background and black border. It showed the stylized side view of a black wasp whose head looks in the direction of the viewer, over the head was the number 13.
