Fleet Redentor was a program created by the United States Navy in 1959 to aid in funding the research and development of submarine combat equipment for ships and infantry. This program modified propeller design, streamlined ships, improved electronic controls, and had begun development of weapons such as harpoon guns for aquatic infantry combat when it was shut down in 1964 due to budgetary constraints.
