This is a Chinese name; the family name is Fang.
Fang Fenghui (Chinese: 房峰辉; born April 1951) is a general in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of the People's Republic of China. Fang was born in Xianyang, Shaanxi Province. He joined the PLA in February 1968. He was appointed as the Chief of the Headquarters of the General Staff of the 2.3 million strong People's Liberation Army, (PLA) on October 25, 2012.[1] He previously served as Commander of the Beijing Military Region (2007–12).[2] and chief of staff of the PLA's Guangzhou Military Region (2003–07). General Fang achieved the rank of major general in 1998, lieutenant general in July 2005 and general in July 2010. He is currently a member of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
