Erich Erwin Heinrich August Veit Freiherr von Seckendorff[a] (21 June 1897 – 23 September 1944) was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Erich Freiherr von Seckendorff was died on 23 September 1944 in Lagarde, France. He was posthumously promoted to Generalmajor.
