David Fletcher MBE is a British military historian specialising in the history of armoured warfare, particularly that of the United Kingdom.
He has been an employee of Bovington Tank Museum since 1982, making him now the museum’s longest serving member of staff.[1] Outside Bovington, he is also in demand around the world as a speaker.[2] Publications from the Tank Museum have extended from the usual books and TV coverage to now including contemporary media such as YouTube.[3]
In 2012 he was awarded an MBE in the Queens New Year's honours list for services to the history of armoured warfare.[1]
