David Emanuel Hickman, 23, of Greensboro, North Carolina was an US Army Specialist killed in Baghdad by a roadside bomb that ripped through his armored truck Nov. 14 2011. He was on a police-type patrol. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division.[1] Hickman was the last US service member to die in the Iraq War.[2]
