Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is a United States Department of Defense (DoD) Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence (CITE) for rotary wing aircraft. It has been a tenant of Naval Air Station Corpus Christi since 1961. CCAD is currently the largest facility of its type in the world and serves as a depot training base for active duty Army, National Guard, Reserve and international personnel. The depot performs overhaul, repair, modification, recapitalization, retrofit, testing and modernization of helicopters, engines and components for all service and international sales of rotary wing aircraft.
