This category is for articles on the topic of mass murder or massacres of men or boys where the victims are selected to be killed based on their gender. These attacks have been called sex-selective massacres, Androcide, or Gendercide in the literature (see list here). For inclusion in this category there must be evidence that demonstrates men and boys were specifically targeted for death based on their gender, and the fact that men were specifically targeted during the event must be defining of the incident. Massacres of male soldiers would not qualify for inclusion in this category, nor would execution of captured soldiers, or suspected partisans. |
