All German people born in Lorraine are not necessarily born in "Alsace-Lorraine", between 1871 and 1919. Some people are born before this period, and some after. All persons born in Reichsland Elsaß-Lothringen are not necessarily German, most of them have applied for French Citizenship (before 1926).
